At the Los Angeles Poker Classic (LAPC) this year Vivek Rajkumar who is a meber of full tilt poker com became the first player to win the Heads Up championship banking almost $10,000 in prize money. Also in attendance at the event was Chris “Jesus” Ferguson who made his first WPT final table and the main event.


Vivek only 22 years old beat off competition at the LAPC and became the the Head Up Champion in the first event to offer $10,000.

The full tilt poker tournament included a double knock-out phase where if a player lost one game they did not automatically get eliminated from the tournament. Vivek had started off in the tournament as an underdog losing an early game, picked up wins after to reach the final. In his two years of profession poker playing he has amassed a winning fortune of over $2.3 million.


Another player to also pick up wins was Chris Ferguson known as Jesus in the poker world. He made his attempt at a WPT final table for the first time. After 6 days of competition and knocking out some of the best poker players.

He made through to the final where he was beaten landing him to an overall 6th place which gave him a prize fund of $240K to go home with.
